The Council provides many opportunities to connect within the telecom community. The opportunity to host a Council meeting is another one of those opportunities. Because our members value the opportunity of brining this high-caliber group in house, we do provide them priority access to choose which meeting they would like to host. That said, there are still some meeting topics available to non-member companies to host. After evaluating the host qualifications below, please complete the host application located at the bottom of this page to be considered as a Council meeting host.
Telecom Council meeting hosts provide facilities per requirements listed below, catering, wireless internet, a/v, tech support, security when required by the facility, and an on-site facilities contact or event manager. In exchange, we give our hosts priority as we chose speakers and at a minimum we allocate welcome remarks to them. Hosts also benefit from increased exposure to the community, the ability for more staff to take part in a Council meeting, and opportunity to get some branded content or item into the hands of our membership.
In addition to host requirements listed above, the Council has facility specification for each type of meeting. Please review the Forum requirements listed below before completing the request form below.
Service Provider Forum and Investor Forum Facility Requirements:
- Adequate space to accommodate 40 attendees seated at tables (preferably conference or large-U style)
- Meeting Run-time is from 9am-1pm (access to space needed from 7:30am - 2pm)
- Light breakfast and lunch in the meeting space (host bares expense)
- Projector, screen, and wired internet line (for demo use only)
- Wireless guest access (optional)
- Adequate parking
Mobile Forum Facility Requirements:
- Adequate space to accommodate 140 attendees seated at tables (preferably banquet style)
- Meeting Run-time is from 8:30am-2:30pm (access to space needed from 7:00am - 4pm)
- Light breakfast, snack and lunch in the meeting space (host bares expense)
- Projector, screen, and wired internet line (for demo use only)
- Wireless guest access (optional)
- Adequate parking
Entreprenuer Forum and Executive Forum Facility Requirements:
- Adequate space to accommodate 40 attendees seated at tables (preferably large-U or classroom style)
- Meeting Run-time is from 12-2pm (access to space needed from 11:00am - 3pm)
- Lunch in the meeting space (host bares expense)
- Projector, screen, and wired internet line (for demo use only)
- Wireless guest access (optional)
- Adequate parking
Evening Cocktail Requirements:
- Adequate space to accommodate 150 attendees seated (theater), with space to network
- Meeting Run-time is from 5-8pm (access to space needed from 3:30pm - 9pm)
- Ability to have food and beverages in the space (host bares expense)
- Projector and screen
- Adequate parking
